Milions de persones es desperten cada dia amb ell, fins al punt que el consum anual de caf\u00e8 per c\u00e0pita al m\u00f3n \u00e9s de m\u00e9s d\u20191,3 kg per persona, arribant fins a 4 kg en els pa\u00efsos desenvolupats, amb una producci\u00f3 mundial superior als 10 milions de tones anuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I aqu\u00ed sorgeix la pregunta: \u00e9s saludable o nom\u00e9s \u00e9s una beguda que causa addicci\u00f3? Tradicionalment, hi ha arrelada la creen\u00e7a que el caf\u00e8 \u00e9s perjudicial, \u00e9s a dir, que els seus efectes s\u00f3n m\u00e9s nocius que beneficiosos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per\u00f2 la veritat \u00e9s que diversos estudis han mostrat que no \u00e9s tan perjudicial com es pensava, i que \u00e9s injust atribuir-li alguns efectes nocius. Aprofundim-hi una mica m\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Beneficis_del_cafe\"><\/span><strong>Beneficis del caf\u00e8<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Segons l&#8217;Acad\u00e8mia de Nutrici\u00f3 i Diet\u00e8tica, el caf\u00e8 t\u00e9 els seg\u00fcents beneficis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cont\u00e9 subst\u00e0ncies antioxidants, que s\u00f3n mol\u00e8cules que prevenen l&#8217;oxidaci\u00f3 de les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules, evitant o retardant-ne la degeneraci\u00f3. Tot i que cal seguir investigant, hi ha fortes associacions entre el consum de cafe\u00efna i un menor risc de:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diabetis tipus 2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Malalties neurodegeneratives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Malalties cardiovasculars i hep\u00e0tiques<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diversos tipus de c\u00e0ncer, com el de pell<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pot millorar el rendiment f\u00edsic i cognitiu, segons alguns estudis, que recomanen la cafe\u00efna com a subst\u00e0ncia ergog\u00e8nica (que ajuda en el rendiment) en exercicis de llarga durada i intensitat mitjana. Igualment, alguns treballs associen un consum moderat de cafe\u00efna amb beneficis sobre el rendiment cognitiu, l\u2019alerta i l\u2019atenci\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Posseeix propietats antiinflamat\u00f2ries, segons certs estudis, que mostren que els consumidors regulars tenen marcadors inflamatoris m\u00e9s baixos que els bevedors ocasionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajuda a millorar l\u2019\u00e0nim. \u00c9s ben conegut l&#8217;efecte d\u2019un caf\u00e8 en un moment de deca\u00efment. La ra\u00f3 \u00e9s que augmenta la tensi\u00f3 arterial baixa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"La_sensibilitat_a_la_cafeina\"><\/span><strong>La sensibilitat a la cafe\u00efna<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La cafe\u00efna \u00e9s l&#8217;agent psicoactiu del caf\u00e8 i, com ja hem dit, \u00e9s el m\u00e9s consumit arreu del m\u00f3n. La toler\u00e0ncia de cada individu a aquest agent \u00e9s molt variable i dep\u00e8n de l\u2019estructura gen\u00e8tica de cada persona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u2019han descobert molts gens que afecten la sensibilitat a la cafe\u00efna, i estan relacionats amb la seva descomposici\u00f3 al fetge, aix\u00ed com amb els receptors cerebrals de la cafe\u00efna. Els gens tamb\u00e9 determinen l&#8217;efecte de la cafe\u00efna en el son. Algunes persones poden prendre un caf\u00e8 abans d&#8217;anar a dormir i dormir sense problemes, mentre que d&#8217;altres passarien la nit en blanc. I es dona l&#8217;efecte de toler\u00e0ncia: com m\u00e9s cafe\u00efna es consumeix al dia, m\u00e9s gran \u00e9s la toler\u00e0ncia de l&#8217;organisme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9s important assenyalar que hi ha moltes malalties i trastorns que poden influir en la sensibilitat a la cafe\u00efna. Si pateixes ansietat, hipertensi\u00f3, diabetis, ar\u00edtmies card\u00edaques o trastorns de p\u00e0nic, o b\u00e9 prens determinats medicaments, la teva sensibilitat a la cafe\u00efna pot ser menor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"515\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/cafe-granos.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33544\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/cafe-granos.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.mgc.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/cafe-granos-440x283.jpg 440w, https:\/\/www.mgc.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/cafe-granos-768x494.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quanta_cafeina_conte_un_cafe\"><\/span><strong>Quanta cafe\u00efna cont\u00e9 un caf\u00e8?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Com pots imaginar, \u00e9s molt variable. Un caf\u00e8 expr\u00e9s d&#8217;aproximadament 30 ml cont\u00e9 entre 40 i 75 mg de cafe\u00efna. Un &#8220;americ\u00e0&#8221; de 240 ml cont\u00e9 m\u00e9s de 100 mg de cafe\u00efna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fins a 400 mil\u00b7ligrams diaris de cafe\u00efna no suposen cap risc per a la salut d&#8217;un adult sa, i hi ha molts consumidors que n\u2019ingereixen quantitats majors sense patir cap problema. Tamb\u00e9 cal tenir en compte que la cafe\u00efna est\u00e0 present en diversos productes: te, alguns refrescos, begudes energ\u00e8tiques, xocolata i certs medicaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Efectes_del_consum_excessiu_de_cafeina\"><\/span><strong>Efectes del consum excessiu de cafe\u00efna<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La cafe\u00efna actua en el cervell, afectant la funci\u00f3 neurotransmissora i exercint un efecte estimulant. Si no ets un gran consumidor de caf\u00e8, si en beus molt en un per\u00edode curt de temps, comen\u00e7ar\u00e0s a notar s\u00edmptomes associats al cervell i al sistema digestiu, entre d&#8217;altres:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ansietat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nerviosisme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marejos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alteraci\u00f3 del ritme card\u00edac<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insomni<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Si experimentes alguns d\u2019aquests s\u00edmptomes despr\u00e9s de prendre caf\u00e8, \u00e9s probable que siguis sensible a la cafe\u00efna. En aquest cas, el recomanable \u00e9s reduir-ne el consum o, directament, suprimir-lo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cafeina_durant_lembaras\"><\/span><strong>Cafe\u00efna durant l&#8217;embar\u00e0s<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Segons alguns estudis, consumir grans quantitats de cafe\u00efna comporta certs riscos durant l&#8217;embar\u00e0s i el primer any de vida del nad\u00f3. A trav\u00e9s de la placenta, la cafe\u00efna podria arribar al fetus, amb risc de:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Avortament<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part prematur<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mort fetal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Per\u00f2 estem parlant de grans quantitats. Es recomana no excedir els 100-200 mil\u00b7ligrams de cafe\u00efna diaris, cosa que suposa dos o tres caf\u00e8s expr\u00e9s. Aix\u00f2 no obstant, alguns metges aconsellen que, per evitar qualsevol risc, \u00e9s millor prescindir de la cafe\u00efna completament durant l&#8217;embar\u00e0s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusio\"><\/span><strong>Conclusi\u00f3<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Depenent de l&#8217;estructura gen\u00e8tica de cada persona, hi ha consens a afirmar que 400 mg diaris de cafe\u00efna poden ajudar a aprofitar-ne els beneficis.
