Tamb\u00e9 participa en la s\u00edntesi de l\u2019ADN, a prevenir-hi els canvis perniciosos i interv\u00e9 en el metabolisme dels amino\u00e0cids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si l\u2019\u00e0cid f\u00f2lic \u00e9s imprescindible per al cos hum\u00e0, esdev\u00e9 absolutament vital per a les dones prenyades, sobretot durant el primer trimestre de gestaci\u00f3. La majoria dels metges recomanen de prendre\u2019n cada dia suplements, pel cap baix un mes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.academianutricionydietetica.org\/alimentacion-mujer\/acido-folico-embarazo\/\">abans de quedar embarassada<\/a>, i fins i tot es pot arribar a recomanar a totes les dones en edat f\u00e8rtil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e0cid f\u00f2lic ajuda a prevenir malformacions cong\u00e8nites greus, com ara quan el tub neural no es tanca del tot i dona lloc a l\u2019espina b\u00edfida. De primer moment es manifesta amb fatiga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Els s\u00edmptomes generals de l\u2019an\u00e8mia s\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pal\u00b7lidesa<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Irritabilitat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Problemes respiratoris (dificultats per respirar)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mareigs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Al marge de la fatiga, quan el d\u00e8ficit \u00e9s greu, pot produir<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diarrea<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Llengua encesa i amb \u00falceres; p\u00e8rdua del sentit del gust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>P\u00e8rdua de pes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depressi\u00f3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Que_causa_la_manca_dacid_folic\"><\/span><strong>Qu\u00e8 causa la manca d\u2019\u00e0cid f\u00f2lic<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El d\u00e8ficit de la vitamina pot ser conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ingesti\u00f3 insuficient de folats, com a resultat probablement d\u2019una desnutrici\u00f3 o b\u00e9 d\u2019un consum d\u2019alcohol excessiu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Problemes d\u2019absorci\u00f3, com ara quan es t\u00e9 la malaltia cel\u00edaca.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u2019embar\u00e0s, o tamb\u00e9 la lact\u00e0ncia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diversos medicaments, com ara els anticonvulsius, els f\u00e0rmacs per tractar la colitis ulcerosa; la metformina contra la diabetis i d\u2019altres per tractar l\u2019artritis reumatoide o la hipertensi\u00f3 arterial i els antibi\u00f2tics o els f\u00e0rmacs prescrits contra el c\u00e0ncer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Com_es_diagnostica\"><\/span><strong>Com es diagnostica<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Una an\u00e0lisi de sang fa pal\u00e8s si hi ha d\u00e8ficit d\u2019\u00e0cid f\u00f2lic. Normalment tamb\u00e9 es mesura la concentraci\u00f3 de vitamina B<sub>12<\/sub>, que causa an\u00e8mia quan els nivells en s\u00f3n baixos. Aquest fet \u00e9s important, perqu\u00e8, encara que en disminueixi la proporci\u00f3, l\u2019aportaci\u00f3 d\u2019\u00e0cid f\u00f2lic no alleuja els trastorns neurol\u00f2gics que pot originar la manca de vitamina B<sub>12<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com a prevenci\u00f3, quan es prenen medicaments que alteren o dificulten l\u2019absorci\u00f3 d\u2019\u00e0cid f\u00f2lic (vegeu m\u00e9s amunt), potser cal afegir un suplement a la dieta que n\u2019eviti un possible d\u00e8ficit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tractament_i_pronostic\"><\/span><strong>Tractament i pron\u00f2stic<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La f\u00f3rmula ideal \u00e9s elevar la ingesta d\u2019\u00e0cid f\u00f2lic amb la dieta. Ja hem vist que hi ha molts aliments i de tota mena que en contenen; del llevat al peix, o de la verdura de fulla al rovell d\u2019ou, de manera que no \u00e9s dif\u00edcil de seguir una dieta rica en folats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si, malgrat tot, no resolem el d\u00e8ficit d\u2019\u00e0cid f\u00f2lic, el metge proposar\u00e0 indubtablement de prendre\u2019n suplements. Els suplements s\u00f3n segurs, per\u00f2 poden tenir efectes secundaris, <a href=\"https:\/\/medlineplus.gov\/spanish\/druginfo\/natural\/1017.html#DrugInteractions\">interactuar<\/a> amb altres medicaments, causar mal al\u00e8, manca de gana, basques, problemes de son, confusi\u00f3 i irritabilitat.
