Aix\u00f2 ens fa pensar molt sovint que tenim sobrep\u00e8s, per\u00f2 en realitat no \u00e9s aix\u00ed. \u00c9s per aix\u00f2 que avui et parlarem sobre qu\u00e8 \u00e9s exactament el&nbsp;normop\u00e8s, sobrep\u00e8s i l&#8217;obesitat, i quines s\u00f3n les difer\u00e8ncies entre ells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Canons_socials_Un_problema_per_a_tots\"><\/span>C\u00e0nons socials: Un problema per a tots<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No tenir un d\u2019aquests cossos esculturals no implica sobrep\u00e8s de cap manera. Encara m\u00e9s, tothom necessita un tant per cent de greix al cos i, en una persona normal, s\u2019hauria de situar entre el 10 % i el 18 % del pes normal, per b\u00e9 que \u00e9s una mica m\u00e9s elevat en el cas de les dones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El fet indiscutible \u00e9s que estar \u00aben forma\u00bb, \u00e9s a dir tenir un pes normal, \u00e9s bo per a la salut. En aquest blog ja hem advertit de les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies de l\u2019exc\u00e9s de pes, que poden ser tan greus com ara provocar trastorns card\u00edacs, diabetis de tipus 2, hipertensi\u00f3 i fins i tot c\u00e0ncer, de manera que no hi insistirem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Que_es_exactament_normopes\"><\/span>Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s exactament&nbsp;normop\u00e8s?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Es considera&nbsp;normop\u00e8s&nbsp;al pes que, d&#8217;acord amb determinats par\u00e0metres, \u00e9s l&#8217;adequat per a una persona, per ser el que garanteix una salut \u00f2ptima. Aix\u00f2 vol dir un pes que contribueix a evitar que apareguin malalties relacionades amb un exc\u00e9s o una defici\u00e8ncia d&#8217;aquell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per a calcular-ho, l&#8217;OMS utilitza la f\u00f3rmula de l&#8217;\u00cdndex de Massa Corporal o IMC. Aquesta consisteix a dividir el pes de la persona entre la seva altura en metres al quadrat. El resultat que ens d\u00f3na \u00e9s un percentatge que, a grans trets, ha d&#8217;oscil\u00b7lar entre el 16% i el 20% en l&#8217;home, i el 20% i 24% en la dona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No obstant aix\u00f2, com veurem m\u00e9s endavant, aquesta f\u00f3rmula no d\u00f3na una visi\u00f3 global. En primer lloc, perqu\u00e8 el m\u00fascul pesa m\u00e9s que el greix, per la qual cosa una persona que practica esport amb regularitat tindria un resultat que podria considerar-se massa elevat. El mateix succeeix amb la densitat \u00f2ssia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D&#8217;altra banda, el pes o el percentatge de massa muscular no \u00e9s una dada definitiva que pugui definir l&#8217;estat de salut d&#8217;una persona. Per a aix\u00f2, caldria realitzar anal\u00edtiques molt detallades, valorar en quines zones corporals es troba el greix o quina quantitat d&#8217;aquesta \u00e9s la que realment hi ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Que_son_lobesitat_i_el_sobrepes\"><\/span>Qu\u00e8 s\u00f3n l&#8217;obesitat i el sobrep\u00e8s?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;obesitat i el sobrep\u00e8s es consideren una acumulaci\u00f3 excessiva de greix en el cos. Lluny de ser una mera q\u00fcesti\u00f3 est\u00e8tica, pot causar multitud de malalties de gravetat o augmentar el risc de patir-les.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;acumulaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquesta no sols es produeix en un pla visible, com pot ser l&#8217;abdomen o les cuixes. Aquesta es troba tamb\u00e9 a l&#8217;interior de les art\u00e8ries, la qual cosa suposa un obstacle per a la correcta circulaci\u00f3 de la sang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quan els nivells de greix, o de massa corporal, estan lleugerament per sobre del que es considera normal o adequat, es parla de sobrep\u00e8s. Per\u00f2 quan les difer\u00e8ncies s&#8217;incrementen ja es tracta d&#8217;obesitat. Cal tenir en compte que a major dist\u00e0ncia del pes de refer\u00e8ncia, majors s\u00f3n els riscos i els danys per a la salut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Que_vol_dir_estar_gras\"><\/span><strong>Qu\u00e8 vol dir estar gras?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Evidentment, per intu\u00efci\u00f3, sabem que una persona alta pesa m\u00e9s que una altra de baixa, o hauria de pesar m\u00e9s. Expliquem tot seguit fins a quin punt \u00e9s aix\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La comunitat cient\u00edfica est\u00e0 d\u2019acord a fer servir la relaci\u00f3 entre l\u2019al\u00e7ada i el pes per determinar qu\u00e8 vol dir estar gras, i en quin grau. S\u2019anomena \u00cdndex de Massa (o de pes) Corporal (IMC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cal tenir en compte que l\u2019IMC no \u00e9s pas una dada exacta, perqu\u00e8 cada persona t\u00e9 una constituci\u00f3 diferent. Aix\u00ed mateix, s\u2019accepta que, amb l\u2019edat, es tendeix a augmentar de pes. L\u2019IMC \u00e9s el resultat de dividir el pes per l\u2019estatura elevada al quadrat. Si cerques a Google \u00abIMC\u00bb, hi trobar\u00e0s moltes p\u00e0gines que inclouen calculadores que determinaran el teu IMC, i nom\u00e9s hi haur\u00e0s d\u2019introduir el pes i l\u2019al\u00e7ada. La f\u00f3rmula del c\u00e0lcul \u00e9s la seg\u00fcent:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMC = pes \/ (al\u00e7ada)<sup>2<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cas que tinguis una al\u00e7ada d\u20191 m i 70 cm i pesis 73 kg:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMC = 73 \/ 1,70<sup>2<\/sup> = 73 \/ 2,89 = 25,26<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9s a dir, si tens m\u00e9s de 35 anys tindries un pes saludable. Si ets m\u00e9s jove, tindries una mica de sobrep\u00e8s, per\u00f2 aquesta afirmaci\u00f3 s\u2019ha d\u2019expressar amb la reserva que abans hem comentat: cada persona \u00e9s diferent!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quines_son_les_diferencies_entre_obesitat_i_sobrepes\"><\/span>Quines s\u00f3n les difer\u00e8ncies entre obesitat i sobrep\u00e8s?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si ens basem en la f\u00f3rmula i la taula que hem vist, es considera que una persona t\u00e9 sobrep\u00e8s quan el percentatge de l&#8217;IMC est\u00e0 al voltant d&#8217;un 10% per sobre de l&#8217;adequat segons aquesta escala. Si la difer\u00e8ncia passa a ser de voltant el 20%, en lloc de sobrep\u00e8s, es tractaria ja d&#8217;obesitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conv\u00e9 recordar tamb\u00e9 que no es pot parlar de valors absoluts, en tractar-se d&#8217;un percentatge. I perqu\u00e8, tal com hem dit, l&#8217;IMC es va modificant al llarg de la vida; concretament, tendeix a elevar-se a mesura que envellim.
