Aix\u00f2 ens parla de la import\u00e0ncia que tenen en el funcionament correcte de les funcions corporals.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Que_es_el_sistema_vascular\"><\/span>Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s el sistema vascular?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>El sistema vascular inclou tamb\u00e9 el cor, que \u00e9s el responsable de bombar la sang pels vasos, i, per aix\u00f2, se l\u2019anomena indistintament vascular o cardiovascular. Sabies que si es posessin en l\u00ednia les venes i les art\u00e8ries sumarien una longitud de 160.000 quil\u00f2metres, \u00e9s a dir, que podrien fer quatre voltes a la terra?<\/p>\n<p>Per explicar-ho d\u2019una manera molt simple i breu podem dir que el cor envia la sang als pulmons, on es carrega d\u2019oxigen. A partir dels pulmons, la sang circula a trav\u00e9s de les art\u00e8ries per arribar a les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules de tots els racons del cos i alimentar-les amb l\u2019oxigen, mentre es carrega amb el di\u00f2xid de carboni que els sobra a les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules. Llavors, la sang retorna al cor, que torna a enviar-la als pulmons, on deixa anar el di\u00f2xid de carboni i es carrega d\u2019oxigen un altre cop, i comen\u00e7a el cicle de nou.<\/p>\n<p>El mal funcionament del sistema vascular, en conjunt, \u00e9s la principal causa de mort a tot el m\u00f3n: sobretot la malaltia de les art\u00e8ries coron\u00e0ries (les art\u00e8ries que alimenten el cor \u2012que \u00e9s un m\u00fascul\u2012), que causa una de cada tres morts, i els accidents cerebrovasculars. Es fa palesa la import\u00e0ncia de mantenir sa l\u2019aparell cardiovascular.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Que_pots_fer_per_la_teva_salut_vascular\"><\/span>Qu\u00e8 pots fer per la teva salut vascular?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Per descomptat, hi ha factors que, desgraciadament, no es poden modificar: l\u2019edat, per exemple, que a poc a poc va endurint les art\u00e8ries, n\u2019\u00e9s un; els antecedents familiars \u2012la gen\u00e8tica\u2012 de malaltia card\u00edaca, n\u2019\u00e9s un altre.<\/p>\n<p>Per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 hi ha factors de risc que s\u00ed que es poden modificar, s\u2019hi poden fer coses, i s\u00f3n de la m\u00e0xima import\u00e0ncia. Les principals: no fumar i fer exercici. \u00c9s senzill, oi? Doncs, potser no ho \u00e9s tant, perqu\u00e8 la major part dels accidents primerencs, tant cerebrovasculars com cardiovasculars, es produeixen en persones fumadores i en persones sedent\u00e0ries.<\/p>\n<p>En aquest web insistim constantment (i continuarem insistint-hi) que fumar \u00e9s el pitjor que es pot fer amb relaci\u00f3 a la salut. O, expressat en positiu: pel que fa a la salut, deixar de fumar \u00e9s la decisi\u00f3 m\u00e9s intel\u00b7ligent que es pot prendre. I el m\u00e9s bo \u00e9s que, des del moment mateix que apagues el darrer cigarret, els factors de risc comencen a disminuir, i poden arribar a ser gaireb\u00e9 els mateixos que t\u00e9 una persona que mai no hagi fumat.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4065\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/fumadora2.jpg\" alt=\"fumadora\" width=\"800\" height=\"472\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pel que fa a l\u2019exercici\u2026, tampoc no \u00e9s un tema nou en aquest lloc web. No parlem de c\u00f3rrer maratons ni res que s\u2019hi assembli, sin\u00f3 de fer una caminada de mitja hora, cinc dies a la setmana. Ha de ser una caminada a pas una mica lleuger, que et faci suar i sentir el batec del cor. Aix\u00f2 \u00e9s el que recomana l\u2019Organitzaci\u00f3 Mundial de la Salut. Tamb\u00e9 hi ha accions m\u00e9s rutin\u00e0ries que hi ajuden: pujar per les escales en comptes de fer servir l\u2019ascensor, o baixar de l\u2019autob\u00fas un parell de parades abans de la destinaci\u00f3 i completar el recorregut caminant.<\/p>\n<p>A part d\u2019aquests dos factors clau, n\u2019hi ha d\u2019altres que cal tenir en compte, com ara evitar l\u2019estr\u00e8s, dormir b\u00e9, i controlar el colesterol, el nivell de sucre en la sang, la tensi\u00f3 arterial i el pes. El metge de fam\u00edlia \u00e9s qui ha de valorar el conjunt dels factors i actuar de la manera que consideri adequada en cada cas.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hi_pot_ajudar_la_dieta\"><\/span>Hi pot ajudar la dieta?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u00c9s clar que s\u00ed. Aix\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 es pot resumir d\u2019una manera molt senzilla: menjar molta fruita i verdura, evitar l\u2019exc\u00e9s de sucres \u2012hidrats de carboni\u2012, limitar la sal, evitar els aliments processats i cuidar la ingesta de greixos.<\/p>\n<p>Com a norma, d\u2019una banda, cal evitar els greixos saturats (de proced\u00e8ncia animal, com ara els de la mantega o de la carn) i, de l\u2019altra, cal consumir els greixos no saturats (com l\u2019oli d\u2019oliva verge i els procedents de la fruita seca o del peix blau \u2012salm\u00f3, truita, arengades, sardines, anxoves\u2026\u2012).<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Els_factors_no_modificables%E2%80%A6\"><\/span>Els factors no modificables\u2026<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cNo ho furta, que ho hereta\u201d, diu la dita. Lamentablement, els problemes vasculars tendeixen a donar-se per fam\u00edlies. Per\u00f2, vist en positiu, s\u00f3n precisament els casos d\u2019antecedents familiars aquells en qu\u00e8 \u00e9s m\u00e9s important controlar el que acabem de veure: el perfil de risc es pot rebaixar dr\u00e0sticament.<\/p>\n<p>Es pot heretar un nivell alt de colesterol: \u00e9s el que anomenem hipercolesterol\u00e8mia familiar. Per\u00f2, actualment, el colesterol es pot tenir a ratlla. I passa aix\u00f2 mateix amb els altres factors. El resum \u00e9s que es pot mantenir una salut vascular excel\u00b7lent fins a la vellesa.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Es_convenient_fer-se_una_revisio\"><\/span>\u00c9s convenient fer-se una revisi\u00f3?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Per descomptat que s\u00ed: continuant amb les dites, \u201cval m\u00e9s prevenir que curar\u201d. Hi ha coses tan simples com controlar la pressi\u00f3 arterial (la tensi\u00f3) i el pes: conv\u00e9 controlar la pressi\u00f3 diverses vegades a l\u2019any (en qualsevol farm\u00e0cia\u2026); i cal evitar l\u2019exc\u00e9s de pes, perqu\u00e8 \u00e9s dolent per a la salut. En la major part dels casos no cal anar-hi gaire m\u00e9s enll\u00e0. \u00c9s clar que, com hem dit, hi ha gent que t\u00e9 el colesterol alt, cosa que el metge de fam\u00edlia ha de controlar mitjan\u00e7ant les an\u00e0lisis de sang que consideri oportunes.<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9 pots tenir s\u00edmptomes de malaltia cardiovascular, com ara dolor al pit despr\u00e9s de fer un esfor\u00e7 o mentre el fas, perdre l\u2019al\u00e8 o sentir una fatiga anormal o tenir palpitacions despr\u00e9s de fer un exercici m\u00ednim.
