Els grassos es troben, en major mesura que els prims, en situacions de risc davant d\u2019una s\u00e8rie de malalties, algunes de molt serioses, com la malaltia card\u00edaca o la diabetis. Per\u00f2 la veritat \u00e9s que seria un error pensar que els prims estan sans pel sol fet de ser prims.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La ci\u00e8ncia ha convingut a mesurar la grassesa establint una relaci\u00f3 entre l&#8217;al\u00e7ada i el pes de l&#8217;individu. \u00c9s l\u2019&#8221;\u00cdndex de massa corporal&#8221; o IMC. Si \u00e9s superior a 25, es diu que hi ha sobrep\u00e8s; i si s\u2019arriba o es passa de 30, es parla d&#8217;obesitat. Fins aqu\u00ed tot b\u00e9, per\u00f2 aquest \u00edndex no mesura el percentatge de greix corporal, per exemple i, finalment, no ens pot dir si la persona est\u00e0 sana o no.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Les_claus_dieta_sana_i_exercici\"><\/span>Les claus: dieta sana i exercici<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Un equip de la Universitat de Sidney, a Austr\u00e0lia, va investigar durant un any els h\u00e0bits de dieta i exercici d&#8217;un grup de persones i les seves conclusions van ser que fins a un 23% dels que tenien un IMC per sota de 25 (no tenien sobrep\u00e8s) estaven en risc de tenir-lo en el futur. M\u00e9s clar: les persones aparentment sanes per la seva al\u00e7ada i el seu pes poden no estar-ho si mantenen un estil de vida poc saludable.<\/p>\n<p>Aquest \u00e9s un fet relativament desconegut: &#8220;Jo estic prim perqu\u00e8 menjo poc i, per tant, no necessito fer exercici&#8221;. Aquesta asseveraci\u00f3 \u00e9s completament falsa. Aquesta persona pot semblar sana, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 pot no estar-ho, i en la mateixa mesura que qualsevol ob\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<p>Si pensem en la malaltia card\u00edaca, o en l&#8217;ictus, o fins i tot en el c\u00e0ncer, els factors de risc que la majoria citaria s\u00f3n el tabac, el colesterol, la tensi\u00f3 arterial i el pes. I oblidarien dos de fonamentals: la dieta insana i el sedentarisme. Tots dos s\u00f3n important\u00edssims: tant, que un estudi recent assegura que el sedentarisme \u00e9s tan dolent com fumar, o potser m\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>[mautic type=&#8221;content&#8221; slot=&#8221;ebook-02-ca&#8221; \/]<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"I%E2%80%A6_afecten_tambe_el_cervell\"><\/span>I&#8230; afecten tamb\u00e9 el cervell<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Diversos estudis ho demostren: menjar molts aliments amb greixos o amb sucre t\u00e9 efectes negatius sobre la mem\u00f2ria i l&#8217;aprenentatge. A m\u00e9s, l\u2019efecte apareix en molt poc temps, tan poc com tot just una setmana. Una investigaci\u00f3 de la Universitat d&#8217;Oxford va mostrar que un grup d&#8217;adults que va basar la seva dieta en menjars greixosos (75% de les calories consumides procedents d&#8217;aliments greixosos) tenien pitjors resultats d&#8217;atenci\u00f3, mem\u00f2ria i estat d&#8217;\u00e0nim que els que seguien una dieta normal.<\/p>\n<p>Hi ha m\u00e9s investigacions que mostren els efectes perniciosos d&#8217;una dieta no sana en la salut, no nom\u00e9s en la salut f\u00edsica, sin\u00f3 en la ment, tot i que la difer\u00e8ncia de pesos entre els voluntaris sotmesos a estudi no era gaire gran.<\/p>\n<p>La conclusi\u00f3 \u00e9s clara: no val escudar-se en el fet d\u2019estar prim per menjar malament i no fer exercici.
