Perqu\u00e8, b\u00e0sicament, hi ha dos tipus de tos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dos_tipus_de_tos\"><\/span>Dos tipus de tos<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>En ess\u00e8ncia, la tos \u00e9s un mecanisme del cos mitjan\u00e7ant el qual intenta alliberar-se d\u2019alguna cosa estranya. N\u2019hi ha de dos tipus fonamentals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La tos seca, que est\u00e0 causada per una irritaci\u00f3 de les vies a\u00e8ries o de la gola.<\/li>\n<li>La tos humida o productiva, que es produeix per un exc\u00e9s de mucositat als pulmons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Que_es_pot_fer_per_desempallegar-se_duna_tos_seca\"><\/span>Qu\u00e8 es pot fer per desempallegar-se d\u2019una tos seca<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Normalment, el proc\u00e9s comen\u00e7a amb una sensaci\u00f3 estranya a la part posterior de la gola, un pessigolleig que normalment no produeix cap mucositat. S\u2019acaba produint una irritaci\u00f3 molt molesta a la gola i, finalment, si persisteix, cansament, sobretot en cas que interfereixi en el son.<\/p>\n<p>Un degoteig postnasal, el degoteig de la mucositat per la part posterior del nas cap a la gola, pot ser el desencadenant de l\u2019atac de tos, que sol ser pitjor si ets al llit.<\/p>\n<p>Es pot tractar amb un medicament supressor, com ara la focoldina o el dextrometorfan. Aquests dos f\u00e0rmacs actuen sobre el cervell per inhibir el reflex que produeix la tos.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Que_es_pot_fer_per_desempallegar-se_duna_tos_productiva\"><\/span>Qu\u00e8 es pot fer per desempallegar-se d\u2019una tos productiva<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Si s\u2019acumula mucositat als pulmons, arriba un moment que aquests reaccionen i intenten expulsar-la a l\u2019exterior.<\/p>\n<p>El tractament es fa els anomenats mucol\u00edtics, o expectorants, que ajuden a trencar i alliberar aquest exc\u00e9s de mucositat, i a reduir, mitjan\u00e7ant la tos, el risc que hi continu\u00ef acumulant-se. Habitualment, contenen uns principis que es diuen guaifenesina, ipecacuana i escil\u00b7la. Es prenen amb una mica d\u2019aigua t\u00e8bia i ajuden a liquar la mucositat.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"En_resum_com_es_pot_alleujar_la_tos\"><\/span>En resum: com es pot alleujar la tos<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Diverses investigacions apunten el fet que, com que es tracta d\u2019un reflex de l\u2019organisme, no cal determinar si la tos \u00e9s seca o productiva, i el tractament s\u2019ha de centrar en la manera d\u2019alleujar-la, juntament amb els s\u00edmptomes associats.<\/p>\n<p>Un xarop o unes p\u00edndoles antituss\u00edgenes fan un revestiment a la gola i tenen un efecte calmant. Com sempre, \u00e9s el farmac\u00e8utic (o el metge, \u00e9s clar) qui ha de determinar quin \u00e9s el m\u00e9s adequat per a tu.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Alguns_consells_utils\"><\/span>Alguns consells \u00fatils<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Al marge del tipus de tos que tinguis, els seus efectes et poden causar esgotament, irritaci\u00f3 de gola i malestar. No oblidis que el millor remei \u00e9s el descans, per\u00f2 et suggerim que tinguis en compte el seg\u00fcent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Descansa: el cos necessita estar fort per centrar-se en la lluita contra qualsevol tipus de virus que puguis tenir.<\/li>\n<li>Beu molt: l\u2019ideal \u00e9s aigua t\u00e8bia amb unes gotes de llimona i una cullerada de mel; aix\u00f2 t\u00e9 efectes calmants.<\/li>\n<li>Fes bafs: per exemple, amb ess\u00e8ncia d\u2019eucaliptus, que es ven a les farm\u00e0cies; els bafs ajuden a netejar les vies a\u00e8ries i a liquar la mucositat.<\/li>\n<li>Fes g\u00e0rgares: amb aigua t\u00e8bia amb sal; aix\u00ed es neteja la part posterior de la gola.<br \/>\nPren alguna pastilla: llepa-la com si fos un caramel, aix\u00f2 et mantindr\u00e0 la gola \u201clubricada\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Els suplements amb vitamina C i zinc, o amb herbes com l\u2019equin\u00e0cia, reforcen el sistema immunitari.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La temporada de les grips i els refredats ja ha passat, per\u00f2 arriba la de les al\u00b7l\u00e8rgies, i amb ella, la tos.
