Con\u00e8ixer els riscos del sol, sobretot a l&#8217;estiu, \u00e9s fonamental per controlar-los i aprofitar aix\u00ed tots els seus beneficis.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Els_beneficis_del_sol\"><\/span>Els beneficis del sol<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>L&#8217;exposici\u00f3 di\u00e0ria al sol, <strong>en petites dosis<\/strong> (n\u2019hi ha prou amb 15 minuts al dia), comporta beneficis importants en la salut.<\/p>\n<p>En l&#8217;organisme, \u00e9s <strong>necess\u00e0ria per a la s\u00edntesi de la vitamina D<\/strong> (tamb\u00e9 anomenada &#8220;la vitamina del sol&#8221;), indispensable per ajudar el cos a <strong>absorbir i fixar el calci<\/strong>, un mineral que \u00e9s essencial per al desenvolupament ossi, la salut muscular i el bon funcionament del sistema immunitari.<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;altra banda, el sol \u00e9s un gran <strong>estimulant de l&#8217;estat d&#8217;\u00e0nim<\/strong>. La llum natural augmenta la producci\u00f3 de <strong>serotonina<\/strong>, l&#8217;hormona de la felicitat. I els dies m\u00e9s llargs i l&#8217;augment de la temperatura convida a fer m\u00e9s vida fora de casa. Tots aquests aspectes es converteixen en un remei excel\u00b7lent per aixecar l&#8217;\u00e0nim i tractar alguns tipus de depressi\u00f3, com ara l&#8217;estacional.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/sol-beneficios-riesgos-montana.jpg\" alt=\"Protecci\u00f3n solar senderismo\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Els_riscos_del_sol\"><\/span>Els riscos del sol<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>L&#8217;epidermis genera <strong>melanina<\/strong>, un pigment natural que dona el color i la tonalitat a la pell i al cabell. Quan exposem la pell al sol, la melanina t\u00e9 la funci\u00f3 d&#8217;absorbir la radiaci\u00f3 ultraviolada i, segons el tipus de pell, ho far\u00e0 amb m\u00e9s o menys efic\u00e0cia. Per tant, el tan desitjat bronzejat no \u00e9s m\u00e9s que <strong>un mecanisme de defensa natural de la pell enfront de l&#8217;agressi\u00f3 solar<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.es\/2018\/06\/el-sol-i-els-seus-efectes-sobre-la-pell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Si excedim la quantitat justa de sol<\/a> que necessita el nostre organisme, la melanina no ofereix prou protecci\u00f3, cosa que pot tenir conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies nocives per a la salut de la pell. Es poden produir:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cremades solars<\/strong> o eritemes, una reacci\u00f3 inflamat\u00f2ria que es manifesta per un envermelliment i una congesti\u00f3 de la pell.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alteracions pigment\u00e0ries de la pell<\/strong>, com ara l&#8217;aparici\u00f3 de taques (generalment a la cara, el dors de les mans i l&#8217;escot a la dona, i al cap dels homes), melasma (tamb\u00e9 anomenat &#8220;drap de l&#8217;embar\u00e0s&#8221;) o vitiligen (taques blanques a la pell).<\/li>\n<li>Sensibilitat excessiva a la radiaci\u00f3 UV (<strong>fotodermatitis<\/strong>), que pot causar una erupci\u00f3 solar benigna, acne o, de forma menys com\u00fa, urtic\u00e0ria solar.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fotoimmunosupressi\u00f3<\/strong>, que destrueix les defenses de la pell, cosa que pot afavorir l&#8217;aparici\u00f3 d&#8217;una infecci\u00f3 viral latent, com ara l&#8217;herpes.<\/li>\n<li>A llarg termini, l&#8217;exc\u00e9s de sol \u00e9s l&#8217;agent amb m\u00e9s influ\u00e8ncia sobre l&#8217;<strong>envelliment prematur de la pell<\/strong>, que es manifesta amb l&#8217;aparici\u00f3 d&#8217;arrugues, solcs, taques i vascularitzaci\u00f3, una p\u00e8rdua d&#8217;elasticitat i fermesa i, en \u00faltima inst\u00e0ncia, pot causar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.es\/2018\/06\/melanoma-deteccio-i-prevencio-del-cancer-de-pell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>c\u00e0ncer de pell<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"La_millor_prevencio_la_proteccio\"><\/span>La millor prevenci\u00f3: la protecci\u00f3<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6351\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mgc.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/sol-beneficios-riesgos-playa.jpg\" alt=\"Protecci\u00f3n playa\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\"><\/p>\n<p>Per gaudir del sol i dels seus beneficis, per\u00f2 controlant els seus riscos, \u00e9s fonamental seguir una s\u00e8rie de recomanacions. <strong>El tipus de pell, el moment del dia, la intensitat de la radiaci\u00f3 i la forma d&#8217;exposici\u00f3 al sol <\/strong>s\u00f3n fonamentals per evitar problemes de salut. A m\u00e9s, hem de tenir en compte que els melan\u00f2cits (les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules productores de melanina) es van reduint segons va avan\u00e7ant l&#8217;edat, fins a un 10 per cent cada d\u00e8cada.<\/p>\n<p>En general, hem de tenir en compte aspectes com:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reduir<\/strong> el temps total d&#8217;exposici\u00f3 al sol.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Evitar les hores properes al migdia<\/strong>, sobretot a l&#8217;estiu, quan el sol \u00e9s m\u00e9s fort.<\/li>\n<li>Cercar l&#8217;<strong>ombra<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Protegir-nos<\/strong> amb gorra, ulleres de sol i roba adequada.<\/li>\n<li>Les cremades de sol <strong>durant la inf\u00e0ncia<\/strong> s\u00f3n especialment preocupants. La pell dels nens \u00e9s m\u00e9s fr\u00e0gil i m\u00e9s vulnerable als efectes nocius dels raigs UV, de manera que <strong>no han d&#8217;exposar-se de forma directa al sol<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Utilitzar sempre filtres solars<\/strong> per protegir-nos, fins i tot a l&#8217;hivern. Han de tenir un FPS elevat (actualment es considera que un FPS de 30 \u00e9s el m\u00ednim adequat) i protegir tant dels raigs UVA com dels UVB. Cal aplicar-ne una quantitat generosa uns 30 minuts abans de sortir de casa, i repetir-ho sovint, sobretot en sortir de l&#8217;aigua, si hem suat o despr\u00e9s d\u2019eixugar-nos amb una tovallola.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9 hem de saber que <strong>alguns aliments estimulen la producci\u00f3 de melanina, cosa que ens ajuda a protegir-nos dels efectes nocius del sol<\/strong>: els carotens i la vitamina C, que trobem en la fruita i els vegetals, i els antioxidants, com ara la vitamina E o el licop\u00e8, que est\u00e0 present en aliments com ara la s\u00edndria, el ra\u00efm, els albercocs i, especialment, el tom\u00e0quet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L&#8217;exposici\u00f3 solar, de forma moderada, \u00e9s essencial per a la salut f\u00edsica i mental.
