Per\u00f2 poca gent sap que, en realitat, la testosterona \u00e9s una hormona que tenen tant els homes com les dones \u2013aquestes en un nivell m\u00e9s baix\u2013, i encara que t\u00e9 funcions desconegudes, s\u2019ocupa de q\u00fcestions tan importants com els trets sexuals masculins.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La testosterona \u00e9s una de les hormones del metabolisme i ens protegeix davant la malaltia cardiovascular, t\u00e9 cura de la densitat \u00f2ssia, de la mem\u00f2ria, de la concentraci\u00f3, de l\u2019estat d\u2019\u00e0nim i del metabolisme dels greixos.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Es_pot_estar_%E2%80%9Cbaix%E2%80%9D_de_testosterona\"><\/span>Es pot estar \u201cbaix\u201d de testosterona?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>El nivell de testosterona varia amb l\u2019edat. Des de la pubertat es va incrementant, m\u00e9s o menys fins als 30 anys, en qu\u00e8 assoleix el valor m\u00e0xim. A partir de llavors, disminueix entorn d\u2019un 1% anual (a t\u00edtol d\u2019orientaci\u00f3, la disminuci\u00f3 pot oscil\u00b7lar entre el 0,4 i el 2%). Aix\u00f2 vol dir que si el nivell m\u00e0xim de partida \u00e9s alt, trigar\u00e0 a notar-se\u2019n la disminuci\u00f3, per\u00f2, si \u00e9s baix, es manifestar\u00e0 abans, amb uns efectes cl\u00ednics apreciables.<\/p>\n<p>El descens del nivell de testosterona se sol manifestar amb els s\u00edmptomes seg\u00fcents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cansament excessiu, anormal.<\/li>\n<li>Augment de pes, que fins i tot pot arribar a l\u2019obesitat, amb acumulaci\u00f3 de greix sobretot a la part central del cos.<\/li>\n<li>Baixada del rendiment en esports.<\/li>\n<li>Disminuci\u00f3 o manca de desig sexual.<\/li>\n<li>Problemes d\u2019erecci\u00f3, fins i tot disfunci\u00f3 er\u00e8ctil o impot\u00e8ncia.<\/li>\n<li>Depressi\u00f3.<\/li>\n<li>Disminuci\u00f3 de la mem\u00f2ria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 pot generar problemes de salut, at\u00e8s que aquest descens tamb\u00e9 est\u00e0 associat a la diabetis tipus 2, la p\u00e8rdua de densitat \u00f2ssia i les malalties cardiovasculars.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Vols_saber_si_estas_baix_de_testosterona_Fes_el_questionari_ADAM\"><\/span>Vols saber si est\u00e0s baix de testosterona? Fes el q\u00fcestionari ADAM<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Si tens alguns dels s\u00edmptomes descrits, sempre pots fer el q\u00fcestionari ADAM. Aquest nom no t\u00e9 res a veure amb el del marit d\u2019Eva: es tracta d\u2019un q\u00fcestionari que dona alguna pista sobre la defici\u00e8ncia androg\u00e8nica de l\u2019home madur (Androgen Deficiency in the Aging Male).<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s molt f\u00e0cil, nom\u00e9s has de contestar S\u00cd o NO a aquestes preguntes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Has notat una disminuci\u00f3 de la libido (desig sexual)?<\/li>\n<li>Tens menys energia?<\/li>\n<li>Tens menys resist\u00e8ncia o est\u00e0s m\u00e9s feble?<\/li>\n<li>Ha disminu\u00eft la teva estatura?<\/li>\n<li>Et falta l\u2019alegria de viure?<\/li>\n<li>Est\u00e0s trist o t\u2019irrites f\u00e0cilment?<\/li>\n<li>Ha baixat la qualitat de les teves ereccions?<\/li>\n<li>Rendeixes menys en esports?<\/li>\n<li>Sols quedar-te adormit despr\u00e9s de sopar?<\/li>\n<li>Ha baixat el teu rendiment laboral?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Si has contestat que S\u00cd a les preguntes 1 o 7, o b\u00e9 a tres de les altres vuit preguntes, hi ha la possibilitat que tinguis un nivell baix de testosterona.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s important que tinguis en compte que aquest q\u00fcestionari \u00e9s merament orientatiu i que no pret\u00e9n substituir de cap manera l\u2019opini\u00f3 del metge; per tant, arribat el cas, cal que t\u2019adrecis al teu metge de fam\u00edlia, que demanar\u00e0 un test cl\u00ednic, una an\u00e0lisi de sang espec\u00edfica.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hi_ha_cap_tractament\"><\/span>Hi ha cap tractament?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>S\u00ed que hi ha tractament, en funci\u00f3 de la causa que hagi ocasionat la baixada. Si s\u2019ha produ\u00eft d\u2019una manera natural, hi ha la possibilitat d\u2019un tractament hormonal. Aquest tractament l\u2019ha d\u2019instaurar el metge i se subministra mitjan\u00e7ant pegats, gel, pastilles, implants o injeccions.<\/p>\n<p>Si el tractament est\u00e0 indicat per un professional qualificat i s\u2019hi porta a terme un control regular, est\u00e0 demostrat que \u00e9s segur i efica\u00e7, sense efectes secundaris importants.<\/p>\n<p>El descens del nivell de testosterona tamb\u00e9 el pot causar un estil de vida inadequat. Per tant, fer els canvis pertinents per portar una vida globalment m\u00e9s sana pot restaurar el nivell de l\u2019hormona.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Recomanacions_per_restaurar-ne_el_nivell\"><\/span>Recomanacions per restaurar-ne el nivell<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Els experts recomanen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Un bon son. La testosterona es produeix al mat\u00ed, per\u00f2 nom\u00e9s si hi ha hagut un bon son, amb un m\u00ednim de tres hores de son profund (aix\u00f2 vol dir dormir tota la nit).<\/li>\n<li>Un nivell proteic adequat. Una dieta baixa en prote\u00efnes s\u2019associa a nivells alts de globulina, una prote\u00efna que fixa els nivells de testosterona i n\u2019evita l\u2019alliberament.<\/li>\n<li>Limitar l\u2019alcohol: tal com passa amb certs medicaments analg\u00e8sics que contenen opioides, l\u2019alcohol provoca la caiguda del nivell de testosterona i l\u2019increment del nivell d\u2019estr\u00f2gens.<\/li>\n<li>Estigues en forma: l\u2019exercici, fet amb una certa intensitat, augmenta la producci\u00f3 de testosterona.<\/li>\n<li>Cuida el teu cos: mantingues-te en forma i vigila la teva figura. No es tracta d\u2019aprimar-se en exc\u00e9s (cosa que reduiria la producci\u00f3 de l\u2019hormona) ni molt menys d\u2019estar gras (cosa que la reduiria igualment i, a m\u00e9s, elevaria el nivell d\u2019estr\u00f2gens).<\/li>\n<li>No intentis resoldre-ho a base de suplements. El que et puguin explicar entorn de drogues anunciades a internet no t\u00e9 cap fonament cient\u00edfic.
