Alhora, la necessitat de recordar rutines, coreografies i moviments mant\u00e9 el cervell actiu i millora la coordinaci\u00f3, cosa que converteix el ball en una activitat molt recomanada per a la gent gran.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Una <a href=\"http:\/\/journals.humankinetics.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.1123\/japa.17.4.479\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">revisi\u00f3 d&#8217;estudis<\/a> sobre els beneficis f\u00edsics del ball, publicada a la revista <em>Journal of Aging and Physical Activity<\/em>, va concloure que &#8220;els adults grans poden millorar de manera significativa la seva capacitat aer\u00f2bica, la resist\u00e8ncia, la for\u00e7a i la flexibilitat de la massa muscular, l\u2019agilitat i l\u2019equilibri gr\u00e0cies al ball&#8221;. A m\u00e9s, tamb\u00e9 pot beneficiar el mineral dels ossos, reduir els riscos de problemes cardiovasculars i el de caigudes.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Beneficis_per_al_cor\"><\/span>Beneficis per al cor<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Ballar \u00e9s un exercici aer\u00f2bic que t\u00e9 efectes positius en la salut cardiovascular: millora la circulaci\u00f3 sangu\u00ednia, controla la pressi\u00f3 arterial, augmenta la capacitat pulmonar, ajuda a cremar l&#8217;exc\u00e9s de greix corporal i a controlar el nivell de colesterol i de sucre en la sang. \u00c9s una de les millors ter\u00e0pies per tenir un cor sa i fort, sobretot en <strong>pacients amb insufici\u00e8ncia card\u00edaca<\/strong>, ja que pot millorar la capacitat funcional i la dilataci\u00f3 de l&#8217;endoteli.
